Terra Rossa — Restaurant in Vienna

(German below) We recently held our wedding at Terra Rossa and it was perfect. Leading up to the wedding, we visited the restaurant a few times and always the service, as well as the food and atmosphere were outstanding. Michael Fohler, the owner, is such a great guy, very welcoming and helpful and you can tell, that he leads his staff in a very friendly way. It feels like a big family. The food is excellent, as are the drinks. They even make their own Limoncello, you have to try it, it's fantastic.

Our wedding day ended up a little differently than planned, as it was raining on and off and the team made sure that still everything went smoothly. The staff which was assigned to us made sure we didn't lack anything and that we literally had the best day of our lives.

The Restaurant itself is beautiful and has so much charm and a welcoming atmosphere, you feel right at home. I love their garden with the olive trees.

Thank you so much to Michael, Charlotte, Nicolas and the whole team, for making our day perfect and beautiful. We love to think back to this wonderful day and know we have made the perfect choice, choosing Terra Rossa for our wedding.

My personal recommendation for food (though everything is superb) is the fried cauliflower with Chimicurri and smashed peas. It's to die for. Also the

10/10 Kürzlich feierten wir unsere Hochzeit und haben uns für diesen wundervollen Moment für das Terra Rossa entschieden. Wir waren einige Male vor der Hochzeit bereits zu Gast im Terra Rossa und jedes einzelne Mal war der Service, als auch das Essen und die Atmosphäre absolut wundervoll. Michael Fohler, der Geschäftsführer, ist so ein herzlicher Mensch, extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit und man sieht, dass er seine Mitarbeiter mit einer liebevollen Hand führt. Es fühlt sie wie eine große Familie an. Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet, genauso wie die Getränke. Sie stellen sogar ihren eigenen Limoncello her, er ist fantastisch.

Unser Hochzeitstag verlief ein wenig anders als geplant, da es immer wieder regnete und das Team stellte sicher, dass alles Problemlos ablief. Die uns zugeteilten Mitarbeiter schauten darauf, dass es uns an nichts fehlte und dass wir im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes den schönsten Tag hatten.

Das Restaurant ist wunderschön und hat so viel Charme und eine herzliche Atmosphäre. Man fühlt sich wie zu Hause. Ich liebe den Gastgarten und seine Olivenbäume.

Danke vielmals an Michael, Charlotte, Nicolas und das gesamte Team, dass sie unseren Tag perfekt und wunderschön gemacht haben. Wir erinnern uns so gern an diesen wunderbaren Tag zurück und wissen, dass wir die perfekte Entscheidung getroffen haben, als wir uns für das Terra Rossa als unsere Hochzeitslocation entschieden haben.

Meine persönliche Essensempfehlung (obwohl alle Gerichte, wirklich köstlich sind): Gebratener Karfiol mit Chimichurri und Erbsenpüree. Einfach herrlich.

I’ve ordered one ginger lemonade asking the waitress politely if she can make it sweeter. She said “of course we can adapt it to your taste”. She brought the lemonade, I’ve tasted it and I’ve said again politely if she can make it sweeter and add more ginger (I didn’t want to say it’s tasteless). She left and came back with a small quantity of dark sirup telling me that this is organic sirup, without saying it’s gonna cost more. All good until I’ve saw the bill with 2 ginger lemonade… I went to the bar for an explanation and 2 of the waiters said with a bad attitude that I’ve ordered 2 portions and they will not give me a refund for the sirup. One of them also said that the lemonade is very good for the other costumers. Very...

We ended up in this area by accident. The place looked so lovely but we were a little worried about being underdressed since we hadn't planned on a nice dinner. Claudia was so kind and seated us right away. She explained all the menu items since they weren't all in English, and gave wine recommendations. Food was fantastic, best wine we've had in a month of travel, and the ambience was lovely. She even gave us recommendations for wines when we visit Croatia in a few weeks.
