A hidden gem in the lovely 13th district in Vienna. After visiting Schloss Schönbrunn hop on an Uber or take tram 58 and then make your way to the Agrarpädagogikhochschule in Ober St. Veit. Or come over for a delicious lunch of homegrown and freshly harvested ingredients after visiting the former royal huntlng grounds Lainzer Tiergarten.

Owner and real food aficionado and connaisseur Artur delights your palate with nutritious and fresh food. You have a choice of two different meals - one will often have meat - for only €8.80.

The quality is excellent and during the summer you can enjoy your meal in the lovely outdoor patio.

Chef Artur creates magic Mondays to Saturdays. He grows his own Shitake and oyster mushrooms on site and you might even wish to purchase a wonderful bottle of Holunder syrup to take home.

A delicious and lovely way to start our visit to Vienna. We were very jetlagged when we arrived in the area. One of the students welcomed us even though we entered just after service hours. The food was top notch, healthy and the sun shined on us all the while. Plus, we were led to the observation deck after for a beautiful view of the city. A perfect beginning! Ich habe vor längerer Zeit im Fernsehen einen Bericht über das Lokal gesehen und mir vorgenommen, einmal herzkommen. Da am anderen Ende Wiens und mit Öffi unterwegs, war es eine weite Entfernung für mich. Und als ich da war, hatte ich noch dazu zuwenig Bargeld dabei (übersehen, dass nur Barzahlung). Der Chef Artur war so großzügig und sagte mir, ich soll eben das nächste mal bezahlen, ich werde sicher wiederkommen. Was soll ich sagen: Das Essen war das köstlichste, was ich seit langem erlebt habe. Ein Traum. Wenn man Nachschlag will, ist das auch möglich ! Wo gibt es das sonst noch?
