RESTAURANT im Hotel Regitnig — Restaurant in Weißensee

We were eating out with the family and booked the restaurant well in advance. The disappointment presented himself as the host who tried to squeeze us to the worst table (some adapted hallway with no air to breathe and no window) possible claiming anything else was booked. Liar. Half the tables were not occupied by the time we left. We managed to negotiate a table at the terrace. The restaurant has good food and the waiters were very helpful. But - first impression ruined a lot and review is about that fact. July 2021. Well. A year is over and here we are. We never learn from mistakes, do we? Another visit - another disappointment. Service was perfect now, but food is a total disappointment. Blanc and tasteless. Please avoid seviche - this is just a salad with traces of fish. Immer wenn wir am Weissensee Urlaub machen, ist das Restaurant Regitnig unsere erste Wahl. Zuerst das Wichtigste - das Personal ist extrem zuvorkommend und immer äußerst freundlich. Wir sind keine Hotelgäste und haben meist trotzdem irgendwo einen Platz bekommen. Als drinnen kein Platz war durften wir mit unseren Kindern ausnahmsweise alleine auf der Terrasse Platz nehmen. Man brachte uns später sogar Decken als es schon kühler war. Vielen lieben Dank! Das Salatbuffet am Abend ist spitze und reichhaltig. Alle Speisen sind auf höchstem Niveau und ein Augenschmaus. Toll finde ich, dass die Lieferanten aus der Region aufgeführt werden. Wir waren sicher schon 20x Essen und wurden nie enttäuscht. Für Familien mit kleinen Kindern ist der riesige Spielplatz direkt neben der Sitzterrasse einfach der Wahnsinn. Wo kann man sonst mit Kindern einigermaßen in Ruhe den...

Very nice place with a beautiful view on the lake. The food is good (4 stars) both for the taste and the presentation. The only point that could be improved is the service that could be just a little bit faster in order to have 4 stars....
