Strandhotel am Weissensee - Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Weißensee

A beautiful restaurant located within the hotel along the lakeside. A warm welcome by the staff who where happy to speak English as my German was not up to par!

We opted for the 4 vegetarian set menu which was very good value for money. The food was made with fresh local ingredients of which you could instantly taste.

Upon arriving to our table, we where quickly served some lovely fresh bread with the most delicious mint and chilli butter spreads.

Next we opted for the drinks suggested to pair with the meal and my gosh the lemon cello cocktails was exquisite, a real mouth fresher to cleanse the mouth ready for our meals.

All four dishes had a quirky twist with well balanced flavour. The staff where very attentive and very polite 10/10.

If I could suggest one thing which could of been improved is the ambience. However, we did eat on a very quite night when the restaurant was not quite full and the staff prepared breakfast set up whilst we finished desert (which is not a problem but if they had asked before hand so we could of taken our dessert into the bar)

Overall, a brilliant vegetarian menu with perfectly match drinks to accompany the food (not included in the set price) but still very good value for money and a lush view of the surrounding area and gardens.

Our favorite hotel in Weißensee. We are regulars for 4 years, visiting at least two times every year. Delicious food, friendly and attentive staff, very child and dog friendly. The SPA is beautiful and cosy, the rooms always clean. The vegan breakfast is the best we had by far in any hotel - never seen so much choice. The garden they keep is such a good idea! They get very full, specially in the summer...

Ich bewerte heute nur mal das Café unten. Abseits aller Dankbarkeit für die Umsetzung eines vegan/vegetarischen Konzepts ist der Preis, die Menge, der Geschmack, die Professionalität des Service nicht mehr als zwei Sterne wert, leider. Veganer Eiscafé war fast ungenießbar, der Karottenlachs für den Preis langweilig und klein und alle anderen Gerichte die wir bei anderen gesehen haben waren auch nichts größer und aufregender, im Gegenteil. Die Kellner wirkten wie Aushilfe die ihren ersten Tag da sind und von wenig Ahnung haben. Aber wir kommen wieder und werden dann die...
