Ty's Place — Restaurant in New Providence

The server brought 3 of our 4 plates. As these were salads and the 4th was the cracked chicken, we didn’t think much of it until 5 minutes later when the 4th order still hadn’t appeared. It never did appear, so I can’t say what the cracked chicken is like. It was my first time eating at Ty's Place. The food was excellent. I had the stuffed salmon with jasmine rice, plantains and a small garden salad with a delicious mango vinaigrette. My wife had the cracked conch with fries. The cracked conch was lightly battered and tender and the fries were nice and hot and crisp. She enjoyed her meal. This is a hard one as I want to support the kids with down syndrome in this place. But the supplies were low. They didn't have certain things. The girls took a while to do the little things like put out the placemats and silverware. It might have been an off day. Love the idea behind the restaurant of giving people with disabilities a chance. I will be back again and hope the service...
