Visited the Starbucks on E Bay St. recently for a quick coffee before heading into work. The coffee I ordered was carefully prepared and tasted great, exactly what I was hoping for during a busy morning. I was pleasantly surprised by the newly renovated space, which felt inviting, modern, and spacious. It’s clear that thought went into the layout, lighting, and décor, making it an enjoyable place to stop by, even if just for a short while.
The service was friendly, though there was a small issue when the staff mixed up a few orders. Thankfully, after we politely pointed it out, they quickly resolved everything with professionalism and good customer service.
An unexpected inconvenience arose when we attempted to pay. Unlike most other Starbucks locations I’ve visited, this one didn’t accept American Express, leaving us scrambling to find cash to complete the purchase. This seemed odd and was a bit frustrating, especially since paying with a card is typically hassle-free at other Starbucks stores. I’m unsure why this location differs from the norm in that respect.
Despite that minor setback, I genuinely enjoyed my experience there. The beautiful setting and quality coffee made up for the minor...
Read moreStarbucks franchise has hits and misses. Bad tasting hot coffee but good tasting cold ones (Frappuccino etc). The workers here are pleasant and work fast. Seems they’re trained different from other Bahamian businesses or maybe it’s knowing they work at the famous Starbucks energizing them.
Can pop in and get a frap, but the sandwiches are never appetizing. They’re always weird combinations. Funny sauces. The ones in America are always tasty and the simple sandwiches one grew up on. The couple times I purchased they tasted awful I couldn’t even finish it.
Tell your sandwich makers to not try so hard. Simple is best. Just make a good ole chicken salad or egg salad sandwich.
Also desserts don’t even look appetizing. Usually look hard. Need to land a great baker that can make delicious cookies,...
Read moreI'm disappointed in what Starbucks has become especially the harbor bay location. The environment I was going for when we opened that location was never established. When I opened the Palmdale location we set the bar for customer service and ambiance. We treated our employees with value because we understood that the employees create the customer experience. I hear horror stories of terrible management in the harbor bay location. I visited without them even knowing I was in the store and the managers are not at all in good spirits. We need to hire better managers that appreciate the Starbucks energy. I'm going to return and I will clean up the entire company and restore the magic we created in the beginning. I'll be visiting with the partners to express my disappointment in the service and lack...
