All kinds of Bahamian local hand crafted creations just off the beaten path. You will not be disappointed if you are looking for something that is authentic and resonably priced knickknacks by local island artists in exotic materials! Soaps, oceanic jewelry, sea shell miniatures, canvas paintings, wood carvings...you name it. Catch a bus or walk the 2.2 mi. Lou (f) was very friendly and helpful. She helped us pick out something for everyone back home. She offered us cold water when we arrived and sent us with more after our visit. We spent about an hour shopping and visiting with her. It was a wonderful experience!

Off the beaten path, beautiful locally made jewelry, art, & souvenirs priced reasonably if not better than the straw market tourist area tchotchkes, & definitely better quality. Lou was very hospitible & friendly, she offered us water as soon as we walked in because we walked 2&1/4 miles to get there! It was so worth it! Then she told us how to catch the bus back to save our feet & time, & made change for us so we could pay the driver. $1.75/person. So we got some Bahamian coins to take home too.

Every type of Bahamian handcrafted products is inside this quaint shop. Many of our local artisans are represented in this shop. This is my go-to place for getting gifts, decorations and jewelry for myself. I just bought this amazing locally made scented candle. It's like the ocean met the pine forest (yes we have local pine in the Bahamas). Be sure to check out the upstairs with the amazing artwork.

We really liked this place. It is small but full of handmade awesomeness! We purchased some pottery, a wooden nativity and some other little random items. They are the only place we found with the hand painted coconut shell keychains and they are vibrant and unique,

They have a lot of jewelry made out of sea glass, conch shells and so much more.

It's a little out of the way and kind of isolated from other things but other than that it's a real gem. We walked from here to the Bahama Hand Prints which is a short walk but it's the only time I was a little nervous with some guy following us and trying to get our attention.

The staff was super friendly...
