   Read morePopped over after hearing so much about it + seen the Instagram ads a couple of times. Since weâve tried Meatmoot in Istanbul, and we quite liked it. Decided to try the Bahraini equivalent. That said tho, quite a few reviews here on their Google Maps are clearly paid / bot generated, but we gave them the benefit of the doubt.
Overall was decent, the smoked meat was pretty good as advertised. A 500G (18BD) set was enough for 2 pax; comes with Soft Drink of choice, Hummus, Rice, Bread, Salad(s) and Fries. Quality of the smoked meat was commendable and we were given a choice of the different cuts (we opted for the short ribs).
Side note, timeliness would be appreciated. We arrived slightly before the restaurant open but the manager and staff were almost 10mins late. That said, they made up for it with a super speedy turnaround of the food.

Chef Eyad is the King of Smoked Meat, with branches all over GCC, this newly opened restaurant serves meat by weight and smokes them in their custom made smokers for 12-18 hours and they have their in-house spices, the meat melts in your mouth.
The restaurant offers indoor and outdoor dining areas.
We were served by Chef Ismaeel, wetried the local noaimi (which is the most tender meat you'll find)lamb, neck, shoulders, ribs and shank.. by far one of the most tender meats I've had, it was delicious.
