Davy Crockett's — Restaurant in Bahrain Island

We pre-booked for Wings Wednesday with a table of 20 so you would hope the kitchen and staff were prepared. The place was all but empty apart from our table and at first it seemed well organised, a number of waiting staff took our payments, issued wrist bands, took drinks and wings orders and after a short wait drinks arrived but even the first order of wings was slow. Thereafter the majority of waiting staff spent their time at the bar talking to each other or on their phone leaving 2 or 3 staff running around trying to take drinks and wings orders to keep up with demand. As a result, food was painfully slow to come out, as were the drinks. When the wings did arrive they were cooked perfectly and tasted great, possibly the best wings I've eaten in Bahrain, although the teriyaki wings were actually just soy sauce!!! Atmosphere was great..had the entire place to myself. I ordered wings (ask girl behind bar to make sure they were BONE OUT) I also ordered fried calamari. 20 min later a different young man ( very professional) brought me a beautiful plate of bone-in chicken. He told me they don't have bone out. Ok, I will try lamb chop medium done. Still no calamari...another 15 min...been here almost 45 min now. I went to the bar, guess the girl didn't turn over to him I had ordered it. Lamp chops came, now I've been here over an hour, THE ONLY CUSTOMER, Lamb is over cooked, no flavor, the mashed potatoes had to be artificial, and the salad was a few pieces of cabbage with a radish. What happened to this place? There use to be a line out the door waiting to get in. Last two times I've been there the quality of the drinks is just plain awful. The absolute worst under measured cocktails. Felt like the bartenders were forced to serve watered down. Overpriced. Don't attempt mixed drinks or food at this place. Only beer if you dare. I love a good dive bar but this place took a turn for the worst. Seemed like management may be loosing money and pushing watered down drinks? But being tight on alcohol just makes it worse. Live music is the only savior. Please get rid of whoever is running this bar and bring back better mixed...
