I was really hoping for amazing food here. Philippino food is wonderful sometimes it’s perfection! I eat it all the time. It’s why we came in. But we were so so disappointed. The staff was nice. The food was not good at all. The lumpia we ordered was ok but it was burnt. We ordered the lechon. The meat was not fresh, it looked old old. We ordered a family size, it was a good portion but it was not good. I cannot explain the crispy skin (my favorite part) it was paper thin and not crispy at all or attached to the meat. It was weird, it was more like a dry chip on top. It looked nothing like the picture. The fried rice was very disappointing aswell. We also got the calamari, and that was ok. We tried the food anyway and it was terrible. It was so unpleasant I did not take left overs home. The floor was dirty. The walls were dirty or stained and the corners were dusty. All glass walls were dirty and dusty. The center table condiments were dirty and sticky. We had about four fruit flies around our table. I don’t know why we stayed, I figured maybe they have been busy and maybe we’re having a bad day. That can happen to anybody. But you can’t be so busy that the cleanliness is so bad. The menus were dirty too. My family looked at me like I’m crazy for suggesting this place. We also had milk teas, the boba balls were blended and broken. This place is cash only and we did not know that, so we had to hunt for an atm. That was...
Read moreFood is great. Food service is fast didnt wait long. The staff inform us to pay as he is closing the shift which is not a problem but it looks like the service is rushed as he is finishing the shift.
We ask for a sauce for the daing and gave us tomato, onion and bagoong on top of it. Would be better if they had separated the bagoong to the rest of the ingredients.
There is a time that 2 songs played at the same time which doesnt sound good especially while eating in the restaurant. The music coming from the kitchen side which can be heard until to the table.
From the counter, kitchen can be seen which is dirty from the floor and unorganized. Would be better if they can clean the backside as people can see it from outside.
Hope this comment can help improve the...
Read moreThis was only the second time that me & my wife ate at Igans. The first tiime was long ago in their original location. We only ordered lechon lomi and requested that they put less salt. That was exactly what was served to us. If not for two issues, we would say that the lomi was good. First, the crushed chicharon tasted rancid. It might be old. Second, most of the sliced cabbage that was added to our lomi came from the core (or near the core) of the cabbage, the hard part. Because of these, we did not enjoy it as much as we should. The service however was very good. And the place was acceptably clean for a restaurant located in the Gudaibiya...
