Previously, this restaurant used to be my good review in the list of good ones. Food preparation is good, respects to the chefs in kitchen. Ambiance is impressive. -------------‐-------------------------------------------------- Minus One Star Review:

This time, it's upside down, the way we were treated from the moment we entered the restaurant, the disrespectful server started his disrespectful gesture towards us and rushing us to place our orders and he was freaking forcing us actually, why? Is that due to our silence ?!? Respecting his work as we always do to all... probably, this gentleman only saw us from a different angle!? And thought we won't react or respond?

We asked for a dish thinking it's non-veg, the other server was way too kind and explained only Veg is available, suddenly this gentleman interrupted us and said NO, WE HAVE ONLY VEG and freakingly he placed our order without our concern !?!? And I said, "Bhai, Nahi Chahiye!"

This rudest gentleman was treating others differently, which was evident to us and I had to be silent so that I don't disrespect him at his place ! Because we come from a humble background where parent taught us how to respect others even when they're disrespectful to us.

Recently had the pleasure of dining at Purani Dilli in Manama, Bahrain and I must say, it was an absolutely amazing experience! From the moment I walked in, I was blown away by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor was traditional yet modern and the ambiance was just perfect. It truly felt like I was back in India!

The food was out of this world. The flavors were so authentic and the dishes were cooked to perfection. I particularly loved the butter chicken and the biryani, which were both incredibly delicious and bursting with flavor. Each dish was made with high-quality ingredients and it really showed in the taste.

What made my experience even more special was the amazing chef who created these culinary masterpieces. I had the opportunity to meet him and he was just so passionate about his craft. You could really tell that he put his heart and soul into every dish and that really made a difference in the taste.

The location of the restaurant was also very convenient. It was easy to find and had ample parking, which was a huge plus. The staff was also incredibly friendly and attentive, making the dining experience all the more enjoyable.

Overall, I would highly recommend Purani Dilli to anyone looking for an authentic Indian dining experience in Bahrain. The food is absolutely incredible, the atmosphere is amazing, and the chef and staff are truly top-notch. This restaurant definitely deserves five stars and I can't wait to...

My family and I made a unanimous decision to visit this restaurant after searching for an authentic Desi dining spot. Upon ordering, we took the staff's advice and specifically asked for their three best main dishes. Unfortunately, the quality of all three dishes was a major disappointment. The Biryani was dry, dull, and lacked the essential aromatic spices, failing to meet basic standards. Even worse, the Mutton Nihari was unacceptable; it had none of the traditional Nihari flavor, and the mutton itself was of poor quality and texture. The third main dish was similarly unappetizing, confirming a severe issue with the kitchen's quality control. However, the restaurant has a saving grace: the atmosphere is lovely, very clean, and comfortable for a family outing, and the service is truly top-tier. I want to specifically commend Pankaj, who was incredibly cooperative, attentive, and professional. He is a credit to your team. Despite the excellent service from Pankaj and the nice setting, the food let the entire experience down. We urge the management to treat this as a serious issue and immediately upgrade the quality of the Biryani and especially the Mutton Nihari so that the food can finally match the excellence of the...
