Apon Coffee House — Restaurant in Dhaka Metropolitan

This menu item, "Cold Coffee" is now so famous in Bangladesh that people crave to have it at least once in every two or three days. The owner of this coffee shop, Zia who is known as Zia Bhai to us was the one who invented and started selling this cold coffee first in Bangladesh. He started off with a tiny store with no name where he only sold cold coffee in onetime cups. Soon it became famous and due to the quality and the quantity according to the price, this tiny shop expanded and now there it is, Apon Coffee House. Then Popyes and some other franchises started copying it but, if you crave the taste of original one made with dedication you got only one place to go you know where. Besides, it also sells other shakes and some indian items I've never tried. It has nice interior and friendly stuffs who are trained to provide good customer service. Overall, it is a nice place to crash and have a fun time along with cold coffee in a afternoon...

After new decoration had a chance to get a seat and lucky enough to get some food. This place made me feel like i am in a place where nothing moves forward without some kind of bribe. First of all waiters dont care who you are untill you have promised to tip them. Then to order food is another hassle as no one comes to take order. For dosa the crispy thin pancakes were shoggy and half done in the middle . Veg was something interesting i encountered. Top of the veg were hot and middle part is cold. As a person from food industry i know what was going on there. Hot coffee tastes like hot chocolate. Waiters are not properly co-ordinated.

Till they sort out food and organized services i prefer to avoid them and for health safety hot and cold mixed food is not going...

This is the best place for all types of coffee. It is very impressive that they kept fast food too. But the fast food taste level is not up to the mark. Doe fuchkha was totally bad in taste. Otherwise coffee was best as usual. A constant crowd. Poor customer service, you must ask the waiters for your dish at least two or three times. Not going to lie, their food options are somewhat affordable. Also the food is quite healthy. It serves as a sort of hangout area. Friends or large groups of people can hang out here with ease. By the way, their coffee is not particularly good. Fusion coffees taste great, but mocha, latte, and espresso drinks fall short of expectations. The air conditioning in general is in rather good condition.
