The Dining Lounge Khilgaon — Restaurant in Dhaka Metropolitan

I probably found the second best, if not the best, pizza in town. This Chicago style Deep Dish Pizza at the Dining Lounge is Pure Love. Tried the BBQ Deep Dish pizza and the moment I put it in the mouth my mind was blown away. The chef generously put in a LOT of Parmesan cheese unlike chefs in other places. Well can't really blame them, Parmesan is quite expensive. The owner of the place told us that there were Parmesan, mozzarella, cheddar cheese and one extra 'secret' cheese the name of which they don't disclose. As long as they keep creating such 'dough of joy', I don't really mind not knowing. The taste, the flavors, the amount were so, so satisfying. I thought maybe the base dough will be thick but it was quite thin. Even the crusts were stuffed. Everything about the pizza was amazing. We were 2, there were 6 slices and each of us was full after 2 slices. Those who know me know that for normal pizzas, 2 slices work as an appetizer for me. We waited for 1 full hour before touching the 3rd slice. It was cold by then obviously, hence we asked the waiter if they could heat it up for us, and they did. This happiness costs 890 Taka and I can guarantee that 3 average people can eat it and have a full tummy. This is a MUST TRY for pizza lovers. I will be visiting...

If I could I would give them 0 stars, service was horrible, the servers had awful attitude. The guy who took our order and served us was not wearing mask although they have a sign on their door saying "no mask no entry". Not only that,, the server had a look of annoyance and inconvenience on his face the whole time he was writing our order.. We ordered 1/2 BBQ chicken and 1/4 grilled chicken, they sent us 3 BBQ breast pcs. We told then that we had 1/4 grilled chicken and we were expecting a leg pcs with the 1/2 chicken. That is when we were informed they don't have leg pcs. We cut open a piece of chicken to find the chicken was completely raw. At that point we were at the last straw of our composure as we have been getting poor treatment since the moment we walked in. We asked to cancel all our product and asked them to make the check for the food that was already served. We spoke to the manager and instead of showing us remorse he started to force us to eat the rest of the food and started telling us we can not cancel the rest of the orders as they started preparing them. We went there last month. It was a treat from me to my tow friends. So I ordered their special Deep dish pizza. We were so excited because this pizza is so reknowned and it has so many good reviews.

After 30 minutes, the pizza were came. It looks yummy. Each of us, took a slice and started eating. Frankly speaking, there is nothing fancy in it !! It tastes ok but nothing special. The horrible part is, while taking my second slice I am shocked to see a tiny slice of raw beef meat attached with the plate.

We were so shocked seeing this. Immediately we call the waiter. He came to us. After then we showed him the raw meat. He then silently took the meat with a tissue paper and go away. We expecting some word from the manager about what happened, but we were shocked as there were no reply from the manager or from the waiter. It seems that, they watch such kind of incident frequently and they were used to with such kind of condition.

We didn't expect such kind of attitude from the management department of one of the reknowned restaurant of Dhaka city. We never ever paid a visit in this...
