🚨 AVOID KHANDANI KHANAPINA – A TOTAL LETDOWN 🚨
This was hands down one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in recent memory. I rarely write negative reviews, but this one felt necessary — especially to save others the same disappointment.
We ordered at 8:10 PM: calamari fries, creamy white sauce spaghetti, and the Red Bowl. But the problems started almost immediately.
⏱️ After waiting for over an hour, we finally received the calamari fries at 9:15 PM — and they were ice cold. When we pointed it out, the staff just reheated and returned the same plate. What we got was a soggy, rubbery mess that no one at the table wanted to touch.
Then came the creamy white sauce spaghetti, and it was honestly disgusting. The sauce was watery, oddly sweet, and lacked any trace of actual creaminess. The seafood was flavorless, and worse yet — the plating looked like someone had literally tossed it onto the plate without a second thought. You can just tell from the photo: sloppy and unappetizing.
The Red Bowl was the only item that was even remotely edible, but it still had a weird aftertaste that didn’t sit right.
💸 For nearly BDT 1200, we ended up with cold, badly plated food, poor service, and a heavy sense of regret.
And let’s be honest — no amount of decent décor can save a restaurant with bad food and bad service. Aesthetic only goes so far when the basics are completely ignored.
Final verdict: • ❌ Terrible food quality • ❌ Unacceptably slow service • ❌ Careless plating • ❌ No value for money • ❌ Disrespect for customer experience
Do not waste your time or money here. There are far better places in the city that actually care about the food and the...

We went to this restaurant on my daughter’s birthday, hoping for a nice family dinner. Instead, it turned out to be a nightmare.
We placed our order around 9:30 p.m. (Special Seafood Rice and a Full Coral Fry) and were told to wait. We waited for over an hour just to get a table. Finally, around 10:30 p.m., we were seated but shockingly, the food wasn’t ready.
After another 15 minutes, they brought only the seafood rice, and told us nothing about the Coral Fry. We had also asked for French fries for my daughter, which never came either. We followed up several times with both the staff and the manager, but no one seemed to care. Not a single apology.
By 11:10 p.m., we had enough. My daughter was hungry and upset, and we just couldn’t wait anymore. We paid only for what was served and left. It was honestly one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had.
They clearly are not ready for the restaurant business. Poor service, zero communication, and no sense of responsibility. I’m shocked at how careless the staff and management were.
My advice: if you're going out with family, especially with kids avoid this place. I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through...
Read moreIf you want to save your money, time, and patience, I’d seriously suggest staying far away from Khandani Khanapina. We went there recently and it was honestly one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a while.
We placed our order around 8:10 PM — got the calamari fries (BDT 350–400), creamy white sauce spaghetti (BDT 500), and the Red Bowl (~BDT 300). After waiting for over an hour, they finally served the calamari fries around 9:15 PM, and guess what? They were cold. When we pointed it out, the staff seemed annoyed and just reheated them — which made them soggy and even worse.
On top of that, the portion size was tiny for the price. Next came the spaghetti, and we couldn’t even get through a full spoon. The sauce was nowhere near “creamy” — it was watery, overly sweet, and just plain weird. The seafood in it had zero flavor. It was so bad we ended up sending it back.
The only thing that was somewhat edible was the Red Bowl, and even that had a weird aftertaste.
In the end, we could only manage to eat the soggy fries and some rice. Absolutely not worth it. Never going back — and wouldn’t recommend...
