Creme de la creme Coffee — Restaurant in Dhaka Metropolitan

Date of visit: July 23, 2020 - two visits on the same day.

This restaurant is inside a building where they also have a residential hotel. The access is a bit dark for my taste although there's a security guard posted at the entrance. Elevator was not working, so that was a bit disappointing.

• The staff at the cafe/restaurant is very welcoming and helpful with the menu; service is excellent. • This restaurant is very spacious. So, it is possible to sit in your own corner and enjoy your meal. Also, a good place to conduct semi-formal business meetings. • A/C worked well, plenty of light, street view and clean inside. No loud, obnoxious music like some other places in Dhaka. • Easy access and plenty of parking available. Restrooms are clean. • Food is good - my guest and I had lunch. Chicken and steak, steak was a bit chewy and they might try to improve on the quality of the beef. Serving portion is good. • For dinner, we shared a Japanese Sushi Bento. Plenty of food for two, price could be a little friendly and the salmon on the sushi wasn't the best. A bit chewy, stale and not fresh. • To me, the smoking area in the open balcony and sitting arrangements are simply this cafe's best features. They need to keep the ashtrays clean. • Overall, an enjoyable visit. !!..worst experience ever..!! Coffee machine was broken and no japanese dishes were available. Ordered cashewnut salad, fried mushroom & veg chowmein though the female waiter suggested chicken chowmein. Total was nearly 1600/- around. Surprisingly they forgot to add salt in chowmein and didn't even say sorry. When we again asked for extra spice as veg chowmein didn't taste like veg then the female waiter put a annoying face and said that thats why she suggested chicken chowmein and it is our fault. She seemed like dam care and rushing to clear the table without permission and even before we finished the food expressing her annoying. She seemed so dam care that we couldn't even say to stop. Fried mushroom were also over fried and the only good thing was cashew nut salad for which they deserve 1 star. Please hire well behaved waiter and good chef, you are just getting star just because your location, not for service/food for sure or maybe just for the smokers who loves to smoke in the open space in yours and orders a simple drinks. Edit: I visit now a few times a week and their food quality has improved. Their coffee is pretty good and love their outdoor sitting arrangements. The environment is a little peaceful. .

among all the restaurants of SKS centre this one has the best ambience but very sadly its food taste is BAD !

the garlic mushroom was a bit dry and it had a peculiar smell. the burger had a little petty inside it and it was served like a sub-sandwich the sandwich was also a big disappointment. the french fries were like any other cheap Street french fries ( like 30 tk fries ) !!!

the staff told us to wait 20 minutes for the food but actually we waited more than 30 minutes.

they were charging premium prices for very badly tested food.

some positive sides: outdoor sitting arrangement with smoking zone, very well decorated interior.

this place is only good for your meetings with a cup of coffee.

overall, the money was wasted. not recommended at all
