Krua Thai — Restaurant in Dhaka Metropolitan

The main attraction of this restaurant is the environment. the overall view from inside and outside is amazing. I went there on Friday and it was nice at 9 o'clock at night with people buzzing around. there is nice parking lot where you can park your private car and also omini outdoor settings for dining and play around with kids under umbrella. they tend to provide authentic Thai foods. but the thing is they are quite lazy to serve you on and around and they hardly provide food hot enough when you actually want something steamy and very much warm so that you have to settle down your tongue. He foods are overal good. I had tried Chicken Satary, Chicken Dumplings, Mixed fried Rice, Tomyum Chicken Soup, Beef Curry, Vegetable Curry, Chicken Red curry. The.vege curry is the best out of these. The dumplings are the worst actually quite below average compare to other food outlet in Dhaka. Never try that. It was not soft and smooth. This place is probably best for its ambiance and the location, out looking the lake view and the amphitheatre. Went here during iftar for one of their platters. It was a bit disappointing for the price. The quality of food was good but portion size was underwhelming. The service was also a bit sub par, the waiters didn't seem to be looking out for customers requests. We had to call them about 5/6 times to just get some tomato sauce. The waiters also seemed to be hurrying with collecting empty plates. They almost took my plate although there was an item remaining on it, thankfully i noticed. This place is a bit hard to find and because of less popularity people around the place don't know about the place very much. And if the place is in 1st floor or 2nd it would have gotten much pleasing view of hatirjheel.

Now, let's talk about the foods.. Firstly the fish platter serving was a beauty and the taste of it was quite good also. And the chicken, vegetables grilled chicken and fried rice with egg is quite convincing.

The environment and the decoration of the place is done based on light colored lights, different kinds of plants, waterfall and some thai portray.
