Secret Recipe — Restaurant in Dhaka Metropolitan

I had the opportunity of having baklava yesterday and I was utterly dissappointed after having it!

I had been brought up in a country of Middle East & since childhood I used to have middle eastern foods & desserts. Baklava used to be one of my favourite desserts over there. I used to get baklava full of juicy sugary & spicy syrup. The syrup used to have aroma & taste of orange blossom or rose water or both of them with mild hints of spices. Syrup used to drip down hands when I used to take a bite of that magnificent nutty dessert.

Yesterday I had baklava that was dry, almost no syrup inside & out, no rose water or orange blossom, no spices! Moreover a strong taste & aroma of powdered milk was discovered! Strange feeling it was! And it was way too hard & dry that my jaws were in pain after chewing.

I don't know which middle eastern country's recipe has been followed. But it was a bad experience!

I hope you will change the baklava recipe to satisfy foodies like...
