We hadn't planned to eat in Aarschot but getting hungry, we drove through and looked around. Voor sommige mensen is een tajine maken helemaal geen uitdaging, gezien het in de grond eigenlijk een soort van stoofpotje is, maar ikzelf begin er niet aan. Als ik zin heb in dit gerecht, weet ik meteen waar ik naartoe stap, namelijk deze zaak. Je wordt steeds vriendelijke begroet en ongeacht hoe groot of hoe klein je bestelling is, de bediening is steeds correct. De menu biedt naast tajines ook nog enkele andere gerechten, maar de keuken is toch vooral gericht op de Noord-Afrikaanse cultuur. En dat maakt dit restaurant ook bijzonder. De maaltijden zijn heerlijk en eerlijk. Daarom ook jammer dat je toch best vaak te maken hebt met een beperkt publiek. Het lijkt dat de grote massa de weg naar deze culinaire stroming nog niet gevonden heeft, en dat ondanks dat deze zaak nu toch al menige jaren in Aarschot bestaat.
