Nice decor, friendly atmosphere. Smells nice when one comes in, fragrant, herbs and not strong or greasy. Once seated the tranquil environment strikes you. The waiter is available but on the background. The menu is not overly abundant but surely enough for all kinds of tastbuds. We ordered several dishes which came quickly and filled the table. Portions seemed small but we found out the food wasn't just tasty but also quite filling. We ended up sharing food and smiling a lot. A great place hidden on a corner of a busy street. As we sit here on busy Friday night and waiting for every course for min 25 min I dare to wonder what happened to this place. Perhaps because we took a set menu. ?We were coming here often a while back to be served with great tasty close to real deal rustic Thai food. Now the menu changed and dishes became snobby, portions are smaller and service slow. One person is from of house, bar, taking orders, bringing food and cleaning tables. Ik kwam speciaal naar dit restaurant omdat ik tijdens de laatste vakantie in Frankrijk een verbazingwekkend lekkere ped pad king gegeten had en enkel in dit restaurant in Aarschot kon je dit bestellen volgens hun website. Dus gereserveerd daar, maar eens ter plaatse bleek dit gerecht niet eens op de kaart te staan. Je kan dit blijkbaar enkel als afhaalgerecht bestellen (staat niet op hun website vermeld). Dus aan de opdienster gevraagd dat ik dat gerecht toch niet kon krijgen omdat ze het toch ook moeten klaarmaken als je het via de take away bestelde, maar dat kon blijkbaar niet ??? In plaats van in te pakken moet je het toch gewoon op een bord brengen ??? De opdienster argumenteerde nog dat als we nu regelmatige klanten waren dat dat wel kon ??? Klant is toch koning en nieuwe klanten moet je toch verwennen zodat ze terugkomen. Hier kom ik dus spijtig genoeg...
