Anna — Restaurant in Antwerp

We visited Anna restaurant for dinner on our first night staying at the hotel. We waited 10 minutes to be acknowledged at the door, and then we were seated at an empty that was dirty.

We waited 20 minutes sat down and had not been asked what we would like to drink, so we had to find someone to take our order. Once we gave them our drink order, it took an additional 15 minutes to receive the drink.

We then had to ask where our food was, and that came out cold- this resulted in food poisoning later that night.

The table next to us had to chase their order multiple times too. This was unacceptable and would not recommend this restaurant when visiting...

Let's move on to Anna, the Crowne Plaza's in-house restaurant. Here, the bizarre factor went into overdrive. Imagine this: you're settling into your meal, ready to relax, when hands – yes, actual hands – emerge from the walls. It felt more like a scene straight out of Sicario than a fine dining experience. One couldn't help but wonder if Colombian drug cartels were somehow involved in the decor (hopefully not!).

While the decor might be "memorable" (in a nightmarish way), it certainly doesn't scream "appetising." For a more enjoyable dining experience, I'd recommend venturing...

Even though the design is nice and there is a pleasant atmosphere in the restaurant and bar area, I must give only 3 stars. This is mainly due to the fact that we have been waiting for more than 1.5h for a dinner, to bring us plates, and some 40 minutes for a desert. Even though the food was good (not spectacular), waiting time was just too long... also, I don't like when they serve one beer in other beer's/brand's glasses... just a small thing to improve for the...
