Extremely Disappointing and Shocking Experience – Felt Like Racism
We went as a group of ladies to this restaurant, after doing a lot of research and finding it was highly recommended. Unfortunately, our experience was the exact opposite of what we expected.
From the moment we arrived, we were treated extremely poorly. Despite arriving early, we were not given a table, while others who came after us were seated immediately. We had to ask multiple times before we were finally given a table. But the issues didn’t stop there—service was incredibly slow, and when we asked politely about the delay, the staff member literally threw his order machine aside and rudely told us, “Yes, it’s like this. You can walk out if you want.”
We couldn’t believe the way we were treated—it felt like outright discrimination. It’s shocking to receive such disrespect in a tourist place. We felt like we were treated differently just because we were a group of ladies, and it genuinely felt like racism.
This experience has completely ruined our evening, and we strongly do *not recommend * this place to anyone.
I would like to bring this matter to the attention of the in-charge person or management, as this kind of behaviour is completely unacceptable in any establishment, let alone in a place that is supposed to be welcoming...
Read moreThe location is lovely, the terrace is great and has nice seats. Some tables are a bit goofy but they're fine. Service was okay, staff we spoke to are limited in language but were kind.
But unfortunately the food was less. Presentation was solid, but the taste was... eh.
The lobster roll looked alot more 'loaded' on the photo on the menu but in reality it wasn't at all. There was very little in it and there was nothing other than lobster inside the brioche roll. Very overpriced for what you get.
The ceasar salad had chunks of lettuce (see picture) and blocks of chicken which had a very lemon-ey taste. It's like the cook forgot cut the chicken at all and left the job for us to make the salad a salad.
The tapas were solid, though. Great melon, delicious croquette and good couscous. The chicken skewers were a bit dry but the taste was good.
The desserts? Magnificent. Really good. If i were to come back here it'd mainly be for the desserts. Maybe to try some other dishes, because i do believe this place is solid, just not the...
Read moreWorst service I have experienced since long time. We got a nice table first, then the service personal came asking us if we would be 'derange' to change the table for other customers. First a young woman with dark blond hair came, then a young blond girl asked the same question again, insisting that we leave the table and sit at some other table. Very rude attitude to customers. We got up and left the restaurant. It is not for the customer to excuse himself that he wants to keep the table the service personal first offered. Customers should be treated equally. Your loss. I spend my money somewhere else and write this comment to warn other customers of this restaurant with rude personal and ethics. If I would be the owner I would make sure to give some training in customer service and manners. You never know who you are dealing with. I will also write a longer post on my travel blog with several thousand followers in throughout Western Europe. Good luck with your business. You...
