Fattoush Gent — Restaurant in Ghent

Had a meal here last night. On holidays in Ghent. Loved the decor and atmosphere immediately. Gorgeous crockery. Menu was beautiful but you need a smartphone to scan and view. The place was really busy and there were 5 of us. We all picked three dishes as its all about sharing. Everybody loved it. Some of the dishes were so good we added more. There were only two waiters but they really were on top of it even though every table was full. Would highly recommend. Everything was so delicious I couldn't choose a favourite. We all loved it. My belgian friends who is very much into traditional food loved it so much he said he will definitely be returning. High praise indeed!!! A fabulous meal and a fabulous evening. Next time I come over from Ireland I will be back for more. We'll done guys....

Nice place for a quick lunch with great, fresh, well cooked, Syrian food. No fancy decor, but a good place to discover new tastes. I liked the Ayran drink I ordered, a salty yogurt drink I've never heard of before. The service was a bit disorganized, it took some time and several stages for everything to finally appear at our table, but this fits the laid-back atmosphere of the place and the waiter was really friendly. LOVED IT. Such a delightful place in Ghent! Such fast service, amazing prices, seriously delicious food. This place was extremely vegetarian friendly. The eggplant was perfectly cooked. The falafel was crispy and fresh and delicious. The salad was so fresh and flavorful. We were so happy with our meal! The house wine was also so cheap but delicious.
