We went for lunch to this amazing family owned and operated restaurant yesterday. We had our kids with us and they really loved the food as well. Super friendly owner and wife, grandfather and grandmother hosted us with a very warm welcome and exceptional service. Shared the lamb vindaloo which was so tender and a generous portion with the perfect spice level and savory sauce that our nine year old son kept dipping the tasty cheesy naan into. Also ordered the duck in mango curry which was again very generous and super tender, savory & sweet with a wonderful texture alongside beautiful aroma. The naan portions are very well portioned and we enjoyed both the garlic naan and cheesy naan along with an order of very good dal. Owner started us with cripy padadums with two sauces that we all loved. Great Belgian beer and wine list. Wonderful experience and excellent location next to The Collective which is a cool pop up of small businesses with a cool garden, clothes, jewelry, handmade purses, antiques and coffee. Go and support this terrific authentic family run restaurant! We will...

We had an amazing dining experience at Masala Accent in Vlaanderenstraat, Gent! The service by the lady of the house was simply outstanding š. Our table host, SHAKSHIā¤ļø, greeted us with the sweetest smile and was incredibly warm throughout our visit. Even though the restaurant got busy, she remained calm and composed, and we never once felt any stress from her.
The food was delicious ā full of authentic Indian flavors, and everything we ordered was prepared perfectly. The butter chicken and naan were especially delightful.
The interior is beautifully done, creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. And, to top it all off, the bathroom was very clean, showing attention to detail in every aspect of the restaurant.

We had the non-vegetarian starters, Chicken Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken, along with naan and papadums, and everything was fresh and flavorful. The mango lassis were a real treat and I could also recommend their cocktails! The staff was super friendly, and the service was impeccable. Itās clear that this place is run by people who care about quality and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I can warmly recommend Masala Accent to anyone looking for a tasty, high-quality Indian restaurant.
