Ad Os Grill — Restaurant in Grimbergen

My girlfriend and I came here for our anniversary as we are quite the meat lovers and we were not disapointed!

Presentation: When you enter you can see into the kitchen on your left. Which is always a plus in my book. Very nice to see! Once inside you are greeted by a very special atmosphere. They really nailed the Lounge part with the music and decoration.

As my girlfriend put it "I feel like we're in a Men's grooming commercial" which is a good thing!

Service: The service was to the point and quick. They gave an atmosphere that fit the place and spoke English, Dutch and French.

Food: The most important part, of course, is the food. We were positively surprised by the amount of different meat types on the menu. I ordered the Entrecote (Saignant) with Ad Os Sauce. And I enjoyed each piece of it. I was quite sad when it was finished really.

And, as I usually do, I ended with a fresh mint tea served in a can that looked like it came straight from aladdin. I loved it!

I am very impressed and will certainly be returning to try the other items on the menu.

We booked our table online, but apparently they forgot / do not use it anymore? When arriving, they first gave a big round table , for just 4 people. Table was also not cleaned properly. We took another table, just for 4 people this time. We noticed that cutlery was having like this film layer, seems not clean / cheap , you could wipe it off with a napkin.

We saw another table struggling with ordering, there was no red wine (anymore)

Even with only a few tables had seated people. But after waiting for 15 minutes no one came buy to bring us the menu or taking a order for drinks...

We choose not to stay.

Very unfortunate because we came there every few months and it had non of those issues and it...

Très déçue ! Nous nous sommes rendue un dimanche soir 20h, quasiment vide il fallait se poser des questions.. Nous demandons au serveur une viande équivalent à un filet pur soit une viande très tendre. Ce dernier nous conseil le filet mignon, qui en réalité n’en était pas un ! La viande était très dure, cuisson pas respectée pour 2 plat sur 3. Amateur de restaurant de viande nous savons reconnaître une viande de qualité et cela n’était absolument pas le cas, bien dommage pour un morceau à 30€ pièce. Une fois la viande a peine refroidit elle était impossible à couper avec un couteau à steak ! Chaque plat doit arriver avec sa salade, mais nous n’en avons reçu que 1 que l’on a du se partager à 3. Les boissons était ok (encore heureux). Les entées un peu pauvre en quantité. La sauce qui allait avec les viandes était très liquide et peu savoureuse. À la fin de notre «repas» que nous n’avons forcément pas fini, le serveur vient pour nous encaisser et nous lui faisons part de notre mécontentement, d’un air hautain ce dernier nous répond «  si vous le dites », concrètement rien à cirer de notre avis, aucune excuses, aucun mot de gentillesse pour des clients qui s’apprêtent à payer presque 200€ pour un plat qu’il n’ont pas apprécié. Le patron n’était malheureusement pas là ce jour là. Bref à fuir, j’ai amener mes parents pour leurs anniversaire et j’étais très triste d’avoir choisis cet endroit qui...
