Als je in dit prachtige kleine cafeetje niet geweest bent ben je niet echt in Hasselt geweest! Maakt niet uit welke tijd je hier binnen komt, het is altijd gezellig! Het personeel, oa Nienke en Sophie, maken dat je je echt thuis voelt. Is de vlaai bijna op dan wordt dat nog even snel vers gehaald! De biertjes smaken in zo'n gezellige sfeer extra lekker! Gezellige leuk gesprekken gehad met stamgasten. Wij komen zeker terug!! 👌

Quaint little pub in the heart of Hasselt, and it is the oldest Cafe built around 1836. You can see / feel why it is the locals' favorite! Attentive and fast service, friendly multi-lingual staff, a great atmosphere and good drinks! I will definitely be back when I return to Belgium (Hasselt). So much fun! We were there for HOURS! It's a little "brown café", a must visit place! Biggest reason: Tripel Karmeliet on tap! The best golden Belgian beer with high alcohol by volume (8.4%)! This beer is still brewed according to an authentic beer recipe from 1679 derived from the old Carmelite...
