Hooghuis — Restaurant in Hasselt

Down a side street of the main busy shopping street. Opposite the town hall. We sat outside. The outside gets pretty busy but a table does free up quickly enough. The service was friendly, the older waiters were very efficient but the younger girl was less experienced and needed to be asked to get things that should have just come with the dishes (cutlery with plates, small plates with the tapas board), never the less she was very sweet. We got the tapas board which was nice but not outstanding and the double burger. The burger was good and the fries was really tasty - I think they’re homemade. Would recommend if you fancy a burger. Nice way to spend with friends over a nice long lunch...

Its a great place to have a drink and eat . The food is delicious and there is a variaty if drink . Both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. There is alot of space ranging from 2 person tables to 20 person tables. The people are verry polite and help you with whatever you desire. Its also located next to the governours house so you might see and wedding or maybe 2 or 3 or more after each other. It has also THE ROLINGSTONES theme With other words lots of pic of them . Also has 2 tv's to watch football or whatever is on. Also has nice music playing in the background. Overall a must go for those who enjoy life itself and ofcourse food and...

I had wok with chicken, and my daughter had sausage and fries. The wok taste good but the only thing is, they put too much soya sauce, so you have this weird after taste, I had to drink a lot of water to rinse the taste of it. The noodles veggies and chicken are good, just the sauce. Clean, fast and friendly waters. You can pay with cards. I gave 3 stars because the toilet is upstairs so it's not really ideal for people...
