Sweet Coffee Take away — Restaurant in Hasselt

The shop is bigger on the inside. At first it seems like a small take away store but more to the back it opens up into a comfortable seating area.

The food is tasty and the coffee is great. The coffee itself is not to bitter and the hints of cacao give the coffee a bit of a sweater taste which I quite like.

The food on its own always tastes fresh and they will even heat it up for you if you want to. The pastries do not have the dry taste some other pastry shops might have if pastries are laying out for ceveral days

The staff is very friendly and will even go so far to recreate certain items if they are no longer on the menu sometimes.

I always go there and i like it , but i had bad experience with customers there (old people) are always racists when you sit there if you are not white 1(One time they made me get up so they can sit in my place !!! knowing there were a lot of empty places around me ) 2(Once the shop was crowded so I sat down at a big table, leaving plenty of room for anyone to sit. Very incompetent people. I guess they are students (at this time of the year) but that shouldn't be an excuse. Wrong orders, missing ingredients in our drinks and above all the waiting time was huge (really not acceptable for 2 drinks and one cheese cake) and when we told them this is taking too long the excuse they gave was that they have only one blender!
