Before visiting the Basilica we need a place for quick lunch. Canât quite find a place that we like near Simonis station so we get off one stop early at Belgica. When we get there we found out that the pasta/pizza place we planned to go was closed til May. After checking out a few other âcafesâ shown on Google Maps - which are actually not a cafe but bar instead! - we went to The Sunshine. The man is very friendly. He speaks some English words only, and the menu is in French, but with Google Translate itâs not a huge problem. We ordered sausage with mashed potato, rigatoni bolognaise, and the Belgian grey shrimps croquette. They know our kids are sharing the pasta and already separated them on two plates when they serve! Thereâs also another older lady whom I believe is the chef. She doesnât seem to speak any English but still smiled at us đ„° The lunch we had was not just about the food, but itâs a wonderful experience at a local restaurant as well. And great interactions with the local people even with the language barrier đ Would highly recommend any tourists to try this if you are visiting The Basilica - itâs less than...

Where it lacked was on the abundance of the shrimps. I think I would have expected more but this is my first time trying this dish so I might be mistaken.
This place has a lot of...
