Royal — Restaurant in Knokke-Heist

I expected nice food and friendly service. Unfortunately it was completely opposite experience. We entered the restaurant and asked the staff for a table. ( So they knew that we are there as new customers) We waited for 15 mins, they kept serving near all the tables around but didn't pay attention to us at all.

I had twice eye contact with the service staff so that they can come and atleast share the menu card. Unfortunately nothing.

I my opinion it was rude and unfriendly. I expected much more from them. At the end we had to get up and leave the restaurant without even having the menu card (obviously without any food)

I would never go there ever and won't recommend it...

Nice place to end a family day at the beach. Service is very good. Although they don’t take reservations, they allowed me to ‘occupy’ some tables half an hour before the rest arrived. Almost everyone in the company enjoyed the food. Great choice of dishes overall, but don’t go there if you want to eat mussels. Their menu is the average Flemish ‘brasserie’ menu. Decent food options. The menu card does not have many vegetarian options and no vegan options. I was offered fish or chicken as such options?! The only ones I found was a cheese baguette and the desserts and pancakes. The cheese baguette came with a small salad, which was good, as otherwise the baguette had nothing but cheese on it.
