Lovely place but the coffee was terrible. I love coffee and couldn’t drink it. The oat milk had a sour taste, not at all micro foam and the coffee had fine grounds in it and itself not a great taste. Under extracted and bitter with sour tasting bubbly milk. Guy serving was lovely though so felt terrible leaving such a bad review.

My goodness. I can see you ignored that I rated the service highly but the ‘food’ /coffee the 1. Also, you don’t appear to welcome feedback. The coffee was bitter, the milk rancid tasting. If you’re the expert, listen to that feedback and sort it out. I can suggest where I’d start if I were off the open minded ‘growth mindset’ customer service oriented person I am … but I can see you’re in the realm of arguing with customers and telling them how they’re a) wrong and B) stupid. So, given I’ve made a highly successful career in helping people improve their product offering to customers and increasing customer satisfaction and ultimately building successful companies (not through a certification but through 17 years practice and experience) I’d suggest you go do some reading.

Training alone doesn’t make someone an expert, practice does. Your barista openly admitted he was learning still and we were empathetic to that fact.

Feel free to bring in professionals from the wider industry to tell you about your coffee though. I’ll be waiting with baited breath on those 5* reviews.

Overly expensive: long black for 4 EUR, Flat white for 5 EUR, 5 - 8 EUR for basic tea Lacks ambiance; seems more geared towards takeaway than for sitting down and getting work done. Very friendly bartender, although on Saturdays, an extra staff member would be beneficial. Generates an excessive amount of waste; if you order coffee and pastries, you receive two disposable items: a cardboard-coated plastic cup and a paper plate. Once finished, everything gets tossed into a large gray trash bin. This level of waste production is unsustainable and environmentally damaging. It would surprise me if there’s any sorting done afterward. Everything is disposed of as general waste except for glass.

After considering all factors, including the high prices, lack of ambiance, and unsustainable waste practices, I won’t be coming here again. While the bartender was friendly, the overall experience falls short of...

Good service and atmosphere, but very sub-par coffee.

They milk used for the milky coffee drinks (latte, cappuccino) was oversteamed and left a 3cm top of unpleasant, untasty foam at the top instead of giving the drink a velvety texture; I'm not sure what milk they use, but the taste was also very off - none of the lactose tones were being exposed.

The pure espresso was also far removed from the better ones I had with an overall sour profile.

2 stars because the service and atmosphere were good; just don't come for coffee that...
