ONJA Kortrijk — Restaurant in Kortrijk

This is my second time and so far, pretty great. The latte and Vietnamese coffee are delicious. Latte mild, the classic coffee strong yet smooth. The latte comes with some ice but not overwhelming amount which I like, the classic comes with much more ice which make sense, since the condensed milk coffee quantity is smaller and it’s a stronger flavor.

The tofu Vietnamese roles are amazing. Can’t wait to try the rest.

I’m hopefully this will be my spot for delicious Asian & Vietnamese food, with great traditional and Vietnamese coffee and drinks.

We gingen langs bij Onja in Kortrijk en bestelden een iced latte en de springrolls met scampi en kip. Eigenlijk kwamen we voor een iced matcha latte, maar die bleek er enkel nog warm te zijn, wat ik persoonlijk vreemd vind.

De iced latte was best teleurstellend: een klein glas met amper vier ijsblokjes voor €5, wat niet echt in verhouding voelt. Ook de springrolls waren geen hoogvlieger. Ik bestelde die met kip, maar vond slechts in één springroll effectief wat kip terug. Opvallend genoeg waren deze ook nog eens duurder dan de variant met scampi’s.

Over het algemeen vond ik de prijs-kwaliteit hier dus niet in orde. Jammer, want de zaak heeft potentieel, maar voor mij blijft het voorlopig bij deze...
