Italiaans Resto, Castello Lucano — Restaurant in Leuven

Recently went to this little restaurant with a friend (via Social Deal) where we had an amazing time. We weren't too sure whether the courses would feed us enough but we left completely full and satiated.

The dishes seem simple, yet burst with flavor (unfortunately I didn't take pictures of everything). We ordered one of the cheaper bottles of wine to accompany the food and even this bottle appeared to be a great selection. Very smooth and not too complex, just like we wanted.

The service was incredibly friendly and warm, the waiter happily shared information about each course too.

We arrived quite early to eat (6 PM) and thus were the only ones sitting at the table for a while. There was no music in the background to make the room feel less empty, but that's the only remark I could possibly make.

I had the worst experience at this restaurant. Tha waiter was very aggressive to the point that we had to leave the place. I scheduled a peaceful evening with my husband at a nice restaurant, but little did we knew how terrible this evening will turn out to be! We complained about the pasta sous that seemed to be taken from a jar and the waiter started being very aggressive with us, he started yelling an making fun of our order and our tastes. I am truly sorry for choosing to go to this establishment. I will never go there again. I am not sure why they have so many stars, I think it is a scam because they do not deserve them, they are not real and the prices are to high for this type of service...

It's the couple from yesterday, who took the main dish to go since we weer not feeling Well.

Thank you for coming to check on us, we have enjoyed your food, and felt the love and dedication you put in this dish. On top of that, all ingredients used were fresh and high Quality.

This is a restaurant where you can still feel the Passion and pride in his dishes. Presentation is beautiful, and tagged incredible.

Will recommend, and Will be back with some more People! 10/10
