Dolce Di Bari — Restaurant in Liège

My recent visit to Dolce de Bari was unfortunately somewhat disappointing.

The evening began on a negative note when we discovered dirty cutlery. Although it was replaced upon request, and excused by the staff.

The pasta carbonara was a bright spot in an otherwise lackluster experience. It was well-prepared and flavorful, deserving of praise.

However, the pizza left much to be desired. It had an overwhelming amount of cheese. Overshadowing other ingredients.

Adding to our dissatisfaction, my family did not receive all our food at the same time.

The presence of insects flying around the restaurant was particularly off-putting and further demonstrated a lack of proper cleanliness and maintenance. Additionally, the seating and placemats appeared worn out, giving the restaurant a shabby appearance that didn’t contribute to a pleasant atmosphere.

Lastly, the staff's inability to speak English was a minor inconvenience. While I understand that the primary language is French, it would have enhanced our experience if the staff could communicate more effectively with non-French speaking guests.

Overall, Dolce de Bari has a lot of room for improvement. With better attention to cleanliness, food quality consistency, and improved...

Lovely little Italian restaurant. Ate here last night and tonight - convenient for where we're staying but worth revisiting! Doesn't look much from the outside and not in the nicest of areas or town centre, but once you're inside you wouldn't know. It's good enough to take my wife here - and that's the test of a good restaurant ! Good selection of drinks, lovely ambiance and then fantastic pizza and pasta. Pizzas cooked in a wood burner apparently - I don't doubt it, but whilst the kitchen is open, I just never noticed! Well worth finding. Thank you for two (possibly three if we come back tomorrow!)...

Eine echte Entdeckung in Lüttich. Nachdem wir in 4 verschiedenen Restaurants am letzten Jahreswochende 2018 keinen Platz bekommen haben hat uns unser Hotelconcierge diesen Tipp gegeben: Dolce Di Bari. Wir sind Recht verzweifelt dann dorthin gegangen und haben zum Glück den letzten freien Tisch ergattert. Mit einem kleinen Riccard haben wir unsere Laune aufgeheitert und dann bestellt. Was wir dann erlebt haben kann man nur mit dem Wort Fantastisch
