Very good menu, nice wines, service below par. Had a really nice dinner, the food is excellent, and the wine is served generously. However, the service we received was unpleasant. Apparently there is only a fixed menu. So we were given a wine menu, but no explanation at all on the food. Nothing. So we looked up the menu on the internet to understand what to expect. It was no issue by itself, but some explanation would have been nice. The waiter who served the wines was impossible to understand, even after repeatedly asking to repeat what he was serving. I asked a recommendation on the digestif to drink after dinner and the only response was 'that 'I should look in the menu'. They had some really great grapa, is it so difficult to recommend this? My husband asked a tea. For some reason the tables around us received sugar and sweets with their coffee and tea, we didn't. We asked for sugar, the waiter noticed it was missing and just placed the sugar from the table next to us on our table. Maybe it's petty, but you would think ... 'when they notice they will also bring the sweets ..' When we left I paid and said the menu was really great but the service was not, The waiter responded with a dry 'Merci monsieur'. Maybe it was all lost in...
Read moreI wanted to give negative stars to the service, unfortunately google doesn’t have any. The food is barely tasteless, the waiters barely speaks English. Most shockingly, refused the change the knife after course aggressively, and asked me to clean the knife with the napkin placed underneath the bread. For the first time, I was speechless. I left the paste dish unfinished because of the after effects from his attitude and the undercooked pasta, he came over and didn’t even bother to ask what was wrong.
Please, avoid here...
