MandaBar — Restaurant in Marche-en-Famenne

Mandabar is a nice looking place, buy their handling and service with large groups is terrible. The only language they speak and understand is French and when you talk to them in English they understand less than a half of what you are saying and there is just a 50% change of getting what you ordered. The food itself is okay, but as a vegetarian you might want to go to another place. Their vegetarian hamburgers are terribly cooked and are still cold.

As you may have seen at my first sentence, I earlier have reviewed this place with 4 stars. Back then their good food made up to their bad service. But this time both their service and food were worse than...

We tried this place, on the premise that they served veggie variations for each of their burgers as advertised.

It wasn't even 8 o' clock yet, and yet the waitress mentioned that they were already out of veggie burgers. Great. Five options left on the menu.

Fortunately, one of these was still somewhat to our liking, so we spared ourselves the hassle of going out in the rain to look for some other place. We ordered. It was 8 o' clock.

One hour fifteen minutes later, our food finally arrived. I'll admit that it wasn't the worst I've eaten, but at that point we were so tired and starving that we would have eaten cardboard..

Not an experience...

If you order a burger ask for extra napkins, because it's a mess. But then again, I LOVE a big juicy messy hamburger. This place would have recieved a higher rating had the service been better. The waiter acted like we were a bother and served several tables first, that came in well after we did. We were about to get up and walk across the square and try another place but a blowing rain storm kept us in our seats. The food and drinks, once they arrived, were good enough. Although we were served what must have been the smallest bowl of chips in human history. But the service would keep me from visiting again. Maybe he was just...
