Lezzet — Restaurant in Sint-Niklaas

I had a lot of pide in my life and I can say this place is not bad but it’s not good either. The pide isn’t bad but it’s the worst pide I had in my life.

Pide should be thin, crunchy, flavourful. The main taste should be the topping. The pide at this place is doughy and chewy.

The waitress wasn’t friendly at all. The music often had interference.

There are desserts and drinks in the fridge but neither are on the menu.

There were two Turkish dips serves to us and a plate of salad. We ordered cheese/vegetable pide and cheese/meat pide.

Usually dips are served with a basket of bread but at this place it’s not, surprisingly. The meat tasted unseasoned.

I must say, I am not a Pide expert but this was the best pide till now for me. The crust was thin and base was sufficiently thick to hold the topping. The oven is brick oven with wood. I see the talent by the chef who makes the right effort to create those thin crusts bake to the right level. We ended up eating 3 Pide !! Pide is very good. Side of salad and sauces are a nice touch. For 11€ i was stuffed a young server was polite. Check this place out if you never had Pide
