The terrace is nice and so is the interior, toilets were clean and easily accessible. The service is average, the waiters and waitresses aren't the most attentive ones and it can be hard work to get their attention. But they're generally friendly and helpful. Prices are certainly on the high end for the quality and amount of food you get. But the vegetable lasagna is a joke. The portion is so tiny, it can hardly count as an appetizer and the price is 19.5€, incredibly ridiculous. The hamburger seemed an ok size, but with 22€ also quite pricey, can't judge the quality, haven't tried. The lasagna was too salty and far too oily: so expensive, bad quality and a ridiculous quantity. The prices for drinks are ok-ish, but also on the higher end. I wouldn't recommend for food, but it's a nice place for an...

Pleasant atmosphere at this restaurant, perfect for dinner and brunches. Don't be surprised if a train comes out of the bushes! Their back terrace is literally on a train platform so you might have a few trains passing very close to your table. That's actually an experience. The menu is quite limited with some pastas, salads, tartare and burgers. Recipes are quite simple. The food is tasty but some plates are extremely overpriced. For example one croquette of shrimps is 8.5 euros. Kind of scandalous if I may say. Ok selection of desserts and ice creams. The bill was expensive considered what we ate but the overall experience was nice. I...

This is now one of my favorite places in the world. I came to Brussels to visit my boyfriend. He introduced me to this place on Tuesday. On Wednesday, he dumped me. Le Refuge was the only place I knew nearby and they were very kind to me, even though I was sitting in the corner crying for an hour. On Thursday I went back to sit and figure what to do next, suddenly alone so far from home. Again, they were very kind and gracious to my stupid, non-French speaking self. They truly are a refuge. The space is beautiful, the menu is excellent and the staff is superb. Thank you, Le Refuge. You made a difficult situation...

I visited this place three times during my stay here. Nice place and atmosphere, the service is always good, helpful staff, we enjoyed our breakfast and coffee. The croissant, omelet, and scrambled egg with salmon were yummy! Few points: limited menu and kinda pricy (egg, cheese, coffee and orange juice 14€, hummus 12€). The pancakes were not good I couldn’t complete, it has strong egg smell. I wish to see more breakfast options next time. I wish if there was English menu, it would have been much more easier for us. Thank you

Charming cafe style restaurant in the enclave of St Job, with a lovely terrace which was full of families with many dogs, on the afternoon that we visited. Our waitress was never without a smile despite managing the entire service single handedly; and the place was packed. We sat inside as the air was still a little cool on a March afternoon; but our dog was still most welcome. The food was served promptly & tasted great. Reasonably priced. Would happily return 🥰
