The terrace is nice and so is the interior, toilets were clean and easily accessible. The service is average, the waiters and waitresses aren't the most attentive ones and it can be hard work to get their attention. But they're generally friendly and helpful. Prices are certainly on the high end for the quality and amount of food you get. But the vegetable lasagna is a joke. The portion is so tiny, it can hardly count as an appetizer and the price is 19.5€, incredibly ridiculous. The hamburger seemed an ok size, but with 22€ also quite pricey, can't judge the quality, haven't tried. The lasagna was too salty and far too oily: so expensive, bad quality and a ridiculous quantity. The prices for drinks are ok-ish, but also on the higher end. Their back terrace is literally on a train platform so you might have a few trains passing very close to your table. That's actually an experience. The menu is quite limited with some pastas, salads, tartare and burgers. Recipes are quite simple. The food is tasty but some plates are extremely overpriced. For example one croquette of shrimps is 8.5 euros. Kind of scandalous if I may say. Ok selection of desserts and ice creams. The bill was expensive considered what we ate but the overall experience was nice. I...

Le Refuge was the only place I knew nearby and they were very kind to me, even though I was sitting in the corner crying for an hour. On Thursday I went back to sit and figure what to do next, suddenly alone so far from home. Again, they were very kind and gracious to my stupid, non-French speaking self. They truly are a refuge. The space is beautiful, the menu is excellent and the staff is superb. Thank you, Le Refuge. You made a difficult situation...
