Capoue Georges-Henri — Restaurant in Woluwe-Saint-Lambert - Sint-Lambrechts-Woluwe

A new policy has been introduced, banning customers from sitting down if they are "only" consuming ice cream. I was there at midday with a tired but perfectly well-behaved child and asked if we could sit outside for five minutes. The place was perfectly empty, we would not have been taking up precious seating as there were no other customers. The serveuse agreed that we would not have disturbed anyone, but said no because if there was an inspection she would have gotten into trouble. I don't blame her if that is the case, but what shameful rules! The ice cream is good but we will not be going back despite passing by there often. If anyone could share the name of the other nearby ice cream place mentioned by reviewers, I would be grateful to...

The owner must know already that there Is a mature employee that is not happy working there. He has no patience at all and is very rude. He's not friendly or welcoming at all. In fairness he doesn't need to be that but he must be respectful to customers. There were people behind me that eyewitness the whole thing. It was an absolute unpleasant experience with such nice shop. Good luck to the owner with such person...

Attente de min 20 minutes avant de pouvoir passer commande (heureusement qu'ils ont fini par voir nos grands gestes désespérés pcq sinon, je ne sais pas combien de temps ça aurait durer.. pourtant le serveur tourne plutôt en rond en se demandant quoi faire).. mon fils voulait une crêpe.. Je demande au serveur le temps d'attente, il me répond qu'il ne sait pas mais qu'il y en a 10 à sortir avant nous ..... Et 1 crèpière !!!! Nous sommes sortis directement car c'est récurrent à cet endroit.. C'est la 3ème fois que le service est lamentable et quand on le signale, on nous dit gentiment qu'ils sont au courant mais qu'ils sont trop peu nombreux.. si on ne sait pas assumer un certain service, autant ne pas le proposer ... remplacer le serveur escargot, ajouter 2 crèpières ou retirer les du menu et ajouter 2 serveuses.. au prix on l'on paie ces glaces (certe bonnes mais pas exceptionnelles non plus), on pourrait au moins respecter le client.. soit, nous ne comptons de toute façon plus y retourner.. il y a de petits glaciers comme cocozza ou Gaston en ville qui sont bien plus accueillants, efficaces et 3 niveaux au dessus point de vue...
