Yama sushi — Restaurant in Woluwe-Saint-Lambert - Sint-Lambrechts-Woluwe

Food was very good and reasonably priced although the waiting staff were a bit rude. We came with a baby in winter and we asked to change tables because they put us right next to the entrance door. We were worried that my son will be cold from the opening and closing of the door but the staff said it's fine there is a curtain. Then before we changed tables, my 1 year old son dropped the napkin on the floor and the same staff made a face of annoyance. He is a freaking baby and did not do it intentionally. Also, I don't know it if were near their closing time already but I felt rushed through my dinner with the lady staff hovering around,literally next to our table waiting to get the dishes we were finished with and when we were immediately taking the dishes out. I was disappointed by the service. The waiter got my order wrong. When I told him that it wasn't what I ordered he confronted me and said that it was exactly what I asked and that I couldn't switch it for anything else because the kitchen was suddenly "closed". The sushis and makis are of average/good quality. However the Yakitoris were almost raw. When came the time to pay, the woman at the cash register encoded the wrong amount in the credit card terminal (it was over 15 euros more than the amount written on the receipt). We have been eating at this restaurant for about 7 years with my entire family and we have never been disappointed.

The food has always been delicious, the freshness of the fish is amazing, and the service is irreproachable. The prices have also always been reasonable.

The staff are always kind, flexible and welcoming (they always remember my father’s order)! The decor is warm and relaxing.
