Mawal - Woluwe — Restaurant in Woluwe-Saint-Lambert - Sint-Lambrechts-Woluwe

We were a group of 9 to invade the restaurant on a Saturday night. Reservations had been made, and our table was waiting for us when we arrived. The waitress was on top of her game making her recommendations on what to order and how much for our group. We always want to try as much as possible and share the different dishes. She also recommended a white wine to all of our liking; and not the most expensive on the menu! The service was smart: split our orders of mezze in 2: That part of the table got 5 dishes, and the other part of the table got the same 5 dishes too. This way one dish didn't have to travel around to 9 people. The time between the veggie mezze and the meat was maybe a little long, but only maybe! It did give us a nice little digestive break as we all had been indulging in the delicious mezze brought to the table. We all had a great time! At the end we paid 380 Euro for everything: 3 types of fried mezze, 5 veggie mezze, 3 meat mezze, dessert, coffee, 4 (or was it 5?) bottles of wine, 6 bottles of water. Well worth it!!! The quality of the Lebanese food I tried here is excellent — flavorful, fresh, and honestly, probably the best I’ve had in Brussels. The wraps are especially great, and the prices make it tempting to come back every week.

The food was one of the best I've ever tried! Not expensive, and yet very delicious! The moussaka, falafel wrap, hummus, everything I tried was excellent!

The man working there was very friendly and helpful whenever I had a question! Very engaging and managed everything properly, despite there being many customers!
