Exceptional culinary experience. We've been to Da Mimmo twice now and it was perfect in every way each time, I just can't fault it. The service is of another level as well. All members of staff are very attentive and they know their stuff when describing a dish or explaining the dish and wine pairing.
The tagliolini with black truffle, a dish that should never ever leave the menu and I don't think it ever will, is an absolute must if you want to taste the ultimate pasta plate. To think that some people are not even aware that this kind of place even exists and for whom an Italian restaurant equals pizza and carbonara pasta is just beyond me...

J'ai apprécié le Black Truffle Tagliolini, mais le serveur semblait trop enthousiaste. Lorsqu'il utilisait du rasoir à truffe, environ 5% ont raté l'assiette et ont atterri sur la nappe. "Désolé."
J'ai été déçu de constater que des flocons d'or ont été ajoutés à l'une des Mignardises. Cela n'ajoute jamais au goût, seulement le coût.

The relaxed and competant staff gladly found a seat for my no-reservation 4-course Italian lunch. The decor was odd: black walls, dark chairs, dark carpet with white tablecloths. But the large windows added much light during lunch.
I enjoyed the black truffle tagliolini, but the server seemed too enthusiastic. When he was using truffle shaver, about 5% missed the plate and landed all over the tablecloth. "Sorry."
Also, I was disappointed to find that gold flakes were added to one of the mignardises. It never adds to the taste, only the cost.
