Lagom Terrace — Restaurant in Belize City

The first time I went with friends I asked the waitress what's in the cheesy fries since I'm allergic to pork. She told me it's the same thing as what's on the nachos (no bacon bits on the nachos) the cheesy fries came and there were bacon bits. I did not get any apology for this.

Second time I went and order chicken cheesy fries no bacon (learnt from the first time) since the food is really good and the waitress brought regular cheesy fries (without meat). I told her I ordered with chicken but said it's okay and I am fine with the regular cheesy fries. A few mins later she came and said "this is why I asked you twice about your order being regular cheesy fries" which came off confrontational and that was what made me upset and threw off my mood so I didn't want to keep eating. I paid the bill and ask to get a to-go plate only for her to send someone else to apologize because she took our food to the kitchen and it was thrown in the trash. The waitress she sent to apologize did offer to pack a small plate but the service was crappy. I appreciate it but that would be the last time I go there. Customer service...

So finally got time to visit Lagom. The service was great offered by Shamir I believe his name is, my friends are a bit picky lol with food and drinks and he kept his professionalism and smile throughout it all. I was dying to try their octopus ceviche and it was good just needed a lil less chewy a pinch more salt and some more lime. I love that the veggies and octopus was freshhhhhh! The happy hour specials are great wings I highly recommend the hawain sauce and don't miss & 1 wing wed😂Now for drinks the Green Hurricane is a must and Sangria, my friend got I think cockaracha some shot with flames apparently sends you into a next universe.
