Sumathi — Restaurant in Belize City

Went 2 days out of 4 while staying in Belize. Good food, a little pricey - but delicious.

So why only 2 stars then? The service. The first time we went, we had a lovely man who we chatted to for a while. He kept checking on us - intelligently topping up our drinks.

The second though - was nothing short of shocking. No “thank you”, “sure”, “no worries” or anything that resembled welcoming service. Just a sour woman with a look of nothing but disdain on her face. No reason.

We were polite, ordinary customers. Bottom line - I can tolerate the high prices if the service is ok. The food is good. If not, get take out - in case you get service like that!

Her daughter showed far more grace than her, even if they spent the whole time on their phones instead of checking on their customers.

Great food. Touch and go service. I certainly would not risk taking a business...

Not an expert in Indian cuisine but I loved this place I'm still unable to feel my lips and mouth but the flavors exotic and delicious, I order chicken 25 which are chunk of bone chicken grilled but covered in this red spicy hot sauce I'm still figuring out what are the leaves I did ate some I belive it has cardamomo in it and alot of spices flavors mixed to perfection with the grilled taste and I also got a Naan with it which is this delicious sort of handmade pita bread, takes a while for the food to arrive but it's because everything is cooked and made fresh at the moment, totally worth it, BTW the have free Wi-Fi total plus if you are...

Food is great never had Indian food before but was surprised by how delicious it was and wanted to try more also the portions were more than expected which is a plus if your dining with a group. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because of the wait staff they need to be more courteous to customers and properly trained, I had a couple of inquiries about the food. Like what it was, what came along with if it's spicy or not but the way I was answered with an "attitude" made me not even want to bother asking more questions all in all great dinning experience 👍👍 oh and I don't recommend it for kids if they aren't ready to try...
