I’m not sure how this place has a 4.5 review but it definitely is not. The atmosphere is nice. It’s a bar too so it’s kind of loud but definitely not an issue especially since we were on vacation. The other pro is that the restaurant had all ages. There was a teenage girl have her bday dinner there and all different age groups dining there. The location is great as it’s right by the beach/pier. It just so happen to be a festival going on so we stopped here for food and later walked to the casino.

Now to the food and service. We were greeted upon walking up by security which was nice and the hostess were kind as well however the waitress took 10 min to even acknowledge us. I’m not sure if it’s because it was so busy but at least leaving us with a beverage would’ve been nice while we waited. Even when ordering she was very dry maybe because she was tired. There are plenty of options on the menu and so we started out with shrimp ceviche and two alcoholic beverages (mojito & martini) which were delicious. The ceviche serving size was great however it was not good. We had ceviche everyday and this was ranked the lowest out of the 3 we had during the trip. We ate about 1/4 of it as we were starving from then busy day. We placed our order which i got grilled snapper and my wife ordered the surf and turf. It took a while for the food to come most likely due to how busy it was. My wife tried to eat the surf and turf but she said she couldn’t and sent it back. Now she’s not picky and will just eat something even if it’s not all that great. In this instance she said she couldn’t because the shrimp, steak, and rice and beans had no taste. She even tried to put hot sauce on everything (including the rice) but ended up sending it back. My food was bland as well including the fish but I just sucked it up. Out of all the restaurants we tried on our trip to Belize this was ranked the lowest. Maybe it was a new...

Walked here from my hotel not sure what to expect.. Upon my arrival I was quickly greeted by multiple members of the staff where Ashlee seated me at the bar per my request.. The bartender Ernell immidiately waited on me. Ernell made me an excellent variety of margaritas while Ashlee provided some conversation and a few dinner choices she preferred from the menu including her favorite drinks.. Their service was nothing short of stellar! Ernell chatted with me for a bit in-between making superb beverages for myself and others.. I felt very welcomed and relaxed. Ernell definitely cares for his waitstaff too if he felt they were getting harrassed he was there to intervene! Stand up guy!! I highly recommend you have a visit if in the area and be sure to have Ernell mix your beverages of choice he's a damn good bartender! To start I selected the Shrimp Ceviche & it was amazing! The shrimp are not diced up like most places I've tried but they were very plentiful and they didn't skimp at all.. The small portion is enough to share with a couple others too! My main coarse was the Curry Shrimp with Beans/Rice & Mashed potatoes All of this was excellently prepared and delicious 😋

Thank you Ashlee & Ernell for adding to this memorable visit in Belize! I hope to...

This restaurant is owned by a Turkish immigrant. He's a nice fella. I met him at his other restaurant. Regretfully my visit here was not very positive I came with a group. Maybe it was because we had a large group of about 20 something people that the food quality was. Let's say passable. Food was overcooked, maybe because it sat waiting to be served. They did have a cart with ice and seafood for your selection such as fish and other selections. I picked a nice looking red snapper to have them deep fry it for me. It turned out okay. I think it was the best choice. Everybody else was not satisfied in my group. I mean those who did not have fried fish. If I'm in the area would I visit here? I think I would visit the other restaurant owned by the same owner. Fyi, you're near the casinos. I believe this is the liveliest part of town in the evening. In my opinion, Belize does not have much of a nightlife. I do not write this to dissway you, but maybe you'll have a better experience than we did. One last note of interest in the restaurant parking lot across the street. They have containers that are refrigerator...
