This was our second stay at this wonderful property. Last year, we stayed a week, and returned excitedly to stay two weeks this year. The Pointe House is really “the Gold Standard” of first-class resorts. Nestled at the end of Sunset Point, it’s removed just far enough from the hub-bub of the tourist areas to give you the feel of being in your own private retreat, yet close enough to be able to comfortably walk into the cool village of shopping, coffee shops, and awesome fun bars and restaurants. Don’t come here if you’re from the US. As I waited for my drink, I listened as one of the employees say she’s racist against Americans because of our (universal, apparently) entitlement. She went on and on in a loud tirade against us, as if we are all the same. I’m not arguing that some Americans are entitled! Of course they are. Great vibes at night. The DJ was killer and what got our attention. She made us stop and turn around and come in for drinks with the music she was mixing. Staff was very fun and quick. Drinks were a great price. Little dance floor and pool to swim. Staff said darts are coming soon also. We had a great time.
