Grill Restaurant La Cabrera — Restaurant in Santa Cruz de la Sierra

Atmosphere was really nice, the layout of the restaurant is well done, and the decoration is fun. We ordered a 800g bife chorizo (240bs if I remember correctly) and it came with a bowl of rice, salad, and shot glass sized sides. The meat was delicious. I found it odd that they don't put salt or pepper on the tables. Also we ordered a bottle of Argentinian red wine and when they brought it to us with the meal, it was chilled. We mentioned it to the waiter and he awkwardly laughed because he obviously had no idea why cold red wine was a no-no. Besides that weird interaction, the rest of the service was great. Good for...

If you are familiar with La Cabrera Restaurants located at Buenos Aires and Asunción, you may come to this one and expect the same quality and premium cuts.

The restaurant and atmosphere is pretty similar to the other chain restaurants. While the menu is a bit different, you will still find premium cuts and chops.

I am giving them 3 stars, as its really difficult to get them make the steak cooking point propperly, it is a real oddysey to get a real “Rare” or “Blue” steak (talk about being at the city’s best steakhouse)...

Other than that, their service is good and the overall experience...

El peor San valentin de mi vida, y de paso mi aniversario número 5..... el día 14 de febrero entre tantas opciones decidí hacer una reserva en este restaurante, ya que había ido con anterioridad y me había parecido muy bien la comida, bueno hice mi reserva para las 9:30pm, llegué 9.35pm, nos recibieron muy amablemente, nos dieron una mesa atrás, en el subterráneo pero al fondo, bueno esto no era problema íbamos a comer y a pasar un rato juntos, se nos hizo las 10:35 sin exagerar y nunca vimos al garzon, hasta que por fin llegó con una botella de champagne y nos sirvió 2 copas, de paso le hicimos el pedido, se nos hizo 11:00 y no llegaban ni los refrescos. Cuento corto comimos faltando minutos para las 12, comimos sin ánimos, molestos por la mala atención, teníamos mucho sueño, no disfrutamos nada y estábamos muy cansados, no disfrutamos la comida. La comida muy deliciosa, nada que decir, pero la atención pésima, muy mala, en esta ocasión me toca evaluar esta fecha 14 de febrero y mi experiencia fue horrible, espero ir en otra oportunidad y llevarme otra impresión de la atención. (Todo se solucionaba poniendo un garzon fijo a cargo del salón y otro que ayude a traer los pedidos, el fijo se encarga de las necesidades del comensal y el ayudante solo provee...
