Punta de S and Tomahawk was great. The medium rare Lomo we ordered came well done. Told our great server Fernando and he could see the chef’s mistake. Unfortunately, the young brash manager said that as we had taken a bite, raised his voice and said he could not get it replaced. Unbelievable. We have never been more insulted. It soured an otherwise pleasurable evening. We tried to point out that we didn’t need it to be replaced but the manager just laughed accusingly and made some snide comment. We were looking for a barbecue restaurant. My brother suggested Vaca Morena, which is adjacent to the Ventura Mall.

The service was good as well as the food, it surprised our expectations.

While dining we noticed a wall full of empty bottles of wine, all signed. When we received the bill, the waiter brought a set of ink pens. He requested us to sign our bottle, as it would be the first for 2024. So we did and he placed it on the wall...

Never had such a great experience. American places dont hold a candle based on my experience the night I went. In order to get this kind of service and quality of food you'd have to pay 4 to 5 times as much. The catve the meat off the bone for you and cut and portion it in front of you at the table, the staff is attentive even when it's a busy night and everything on the menu, meat to yucca to deserts and wine...
