Casa Vegana — Restaurant in Santa Cruz de la Sierra

I was so excited when I found this place, unfortunately it didn't live up to my expectations. The restaurant is in a beautiful house, however, the furniture and decoration were bland and the painting on the wall looked as if it was remains from a children's bedroom. I was the only guest and promptly attended to, but told the waitress I'd need a few minutes to decide. Because she didn't check back with me I had to get up and place my order at the counter. Two of the five smoothies they had on the menu weren't available. I ordered three different types of Tortillas with a side of chips. Food and smoothie were served at the same time, despite the fact that it was 35°C outside and I'd have loved to have my drink straight away. The tortillas were nice, the one with soja meat, however, was very bland and dry. The chips looked awesome but they had so much salt that I couldn't eat them. Throughout my stay in the restaurant the waitress didn't check on me and when I had finished I had to go to the counter again to pay. Could be that they were having an off day, I hope so, because the space is lovely and the available dishes look yummy. I probably wouldn't go...
