This is such a comfortable, interestingly decorated rustic place. They have plenty of outdoor garden seating, and comfortable cozy indoor seating. They serve fresh draft beer, have a full bar as well as bottled beer and non-alcoholic drinks. There is friendly, fast, competent service -- but most importantly, they serve great "comfort food," Well, at least the food we keep ordering again and again! We go about once every two weeks (once the restaurants were allowed to serve due to COVID restrictions). My husband always orders "teleći ražnjići" (veal skewers), "teleći medaljoni"(veal medallions with a cream sauce) or "becka šnicla" (breaded deep-fried veal steaks with french fries). I always order the "Fijaker salata". This is a mix of seasonal greens and veggies, with grilled beef strips on top, served with warm fresh pita-style bread and a creamy dipping sauce. The bathrooms are immaculate. My husband's boss introduced us to this place the second day we arrived in town, and we haven't stopped going back! (A Fijaker is a horse-drawn carriage -- the restaurant is about 60 meters from the main station where the horses wait for their next customers, so if you like horses and just want to pet them, or want to take a carriage ride, this is a great place to eat or have a drink...

The food is absolutely incredible — from perfectly grilled meats to rich stews and fresh salads, everything is made with love and care. A standout was the selection of traditional dishes, all bursting with flavor and rooted in local culture.

To top it all off, we enjoyed a glass (or two!) of amazing homemade wine from Hercegovina — the Kovačević house wine is a must-try. It perfectly complements the hearty meals and adds an extra touch of regional charm.
