We went to Kwagancinci one evening to have dinner while in Maun. Went first walked in, the place was empty and two young people were dozing off on a couch. At that point we were sure but decided to give it a try. They had to set up a table for us. Some of the items on the menu were not available so we ordered the stuffed chicken. As the evening moved on it got better and better. The young lady served explained to us about Botswana food culture, she taught us some simple phrases in Setswana language. The food was excellent too. The dinner turned into a food and cultural experience. The young lady also said the restaurant can prepare a Botswana food tasting on any day requested but we were leaving Maun the next day, perhaps next time.

The Food is absolut delicious! We stayed two days in Maun and this was one of our highlights. The Chef and the waiter were so lovley! The Special Philosophie is „No one should miss out on delicious food“! Every dish is cooked with a big Portion of love. They also do fantastic vegetarian dishes! We love this Place! And be sure, if we Travel to Botsuana again, we will visit this Restaurant! You can park right in Front of the Restaurant. Become part of the Family and visit!😍

My fav restaurant in Maun for now! I was warmly welcomed by the friendly waiter and I trusted him with the food he recommended. And it’s delicious! The ox tongue with special fried rice is definitely a must try plus the homemade ginger cooler. If you are interested in local culture and good food, Kwagancinci is a must visit in Maun.

It was a very unfortunate situation. I got there only to find out they were closed and had a private function that afternoon. I checked all their social media platforms that morning and nothing was communicated there- only a board by their physical location which was such an inconvenience. I was looking forward to their famous chicken burger my friend recommended to me but I ended up going elsewhere.

Perhaps to improve and keep social accounts up to date or atleast have one that is current and shares all the...
